Prayer for America 12/08/05

Lord, we realize how much we love our families and how important our friends are. But help us, Lord, to understand that even those who are strangers to us deserve our love and concern. Teach us to reach beyond the boundaries of our homes, our neighborhoods, and our cities and to lend a helping hand to whoever reaches out to grasp it. Show us how to be good citizens, Lord, in good times and in bad. Amen.

No one will remember anything you did, unless, of course, you were kind to them.
