Prayer for America 01/26/06

I ask you to bless America, Lord God. Help her not to grow weary in doing what is right, no matter how difficult it may be to do so. Help me, as one of her citizens, to do my part today by choosing what is honest, what is true, what is kind, what is good, what is patient, what promotes peace, and what brings honor to the title I bear; proud American.

Let us, on the day set aside for this purpose, give thanks to the Ruler of the universe for the strength which He has vouchsafed us to carry on our daily labors and for the hope that lives within us of the coming day when peace and the productive activities of peace shall reign on every continent.
