How wonderful are the works of your hands, O God. Nowhere can we more appreciate your wonder than in our country's magnificent national parks.

This nation has such wealth. In it lies the breathtaking beauty and untold treasure of Yellowstone, Glacier, Grand Canyon, Mesa Verde, Denali, Yosemite, and all our national parks. Sparkling lakes and cool streams, awesome forests, majestic mountains, ancient caves, centuries-old cliff dwellings, volcanic formations--all declare your glory.

Gratefully we applaud the foresight of those who have gone before us to preserve the riches of your earth.

In your goodness, Lord, you have given us these havens of rest. Through them, all creation sings your praises.
