Prayer for America 07/24/06

Heavenly Father, every day I can set aside a bit of my time and resources to share--but where? I'm torn between Greenpeace and world peace, Save the Children and Save the Whales, the Girl Scouts and the Red Cross. Should I spend an hour in prayer or an hour with a friend in need? Should I pray for my country, pray for my neighbor, or pray for a refugee? God, in your wisdom, please guide me today to serve with my hands and my prayers where I am most needed. Amen.
