Prayer for America 08/06/06

Lord, thank you for the amazing beauty of this land we live in. Your creation is magnificent. It leaves us speechless, whether we are standing near the edge of the Grand Canyon, walking through sequoia forests, splashing in the ocean, or climbing the southern hills. There are miracles of nature surrounding us on all sides. We are blessed with the magnitude, the breadth, the variety, and the fullness of all you have made. Help us each gain a new appreciation for the beauty that defines the faraway places of our country. We are blessed beyond imagination, Lord, and for this we thank you. Amen.
