Prayer for America 11/09/05

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Heavenly Father, thank you for music that reminds me who I am and why I am here.  Birds cheer me, and their songs remind me to scatter seeds.  Sacred music reminds me that I am your child and that I must constantly look to you for guidance.

 

America's patriotic songs tell me that I live in the land of the free and that this citizenship carries responsibility. 

 

Thank you, God, for your gift of music.  Thank you for all the reminders that music invokes.  Amen.
