Prayer for America 11/08/05

Merciful Father, through our country's best and worst days, teach us to pray and help us make prayer a priority in our land. Prayer is an act of love, uniting us with each other and with you. Loving God, you shape the world by prayer. Each time we honor you by seeking your presence, we become different people. Our attitude changes, our vision expands, and our country becomes richer.

Rule over our lives, O God. Heal our brokenness, and make us a nation of prayer once again. Thy will be done.
