Prayer for America 11/28/05

Good and gracious Lord, you have been with us since the beginning, when a small, ragged band of pilgrims grew into a diverse nation of millions of people. You guided and strengthened our founders as they struggled to shape our great country.

Through the years, as we trusted you and clung to your promises, you have upheld us through the dark days and led us into the light.

We thank you for your faithfulness, Heavenly Father, and we ask you to continue to light the way for us as we face the future armed with the courage and compassion you have supplied.
