Prayer for America 12/13/05

We are a nation of caring individuals. We help other countries in their times of need. We aid them during wars and reach our hands across the ocean in times of crisis. Never do we expect to see others return the favor. We are a giving nation. But we cannot sustain ourselves alone. We need your support, God. With that we can do anything. Amen.

Compassion is the ability to walk in another's shoes, even if they are several sizes too small. Compassion is understanding another's challenges, even if they are not our own. Compassion is caring for the welfare of others, even if they are different from us.
