Prayer for America 12/27/05

E pluribus unum. Our of many, one. Out of many states, one nation. Out of many individuals, one country.

Lord, we are not sure how this nation works, but we are thankful it does. Perhaps it works because we respect each other or because we need each other. Perhaps it works because we honor you. Whatever the reason, we stand united against our enemies. We don't just rally around the flag, we rally around each other. Thank you for helping us make it work. Amen.
