Prayer for America 01/10/06

Be with me, O God.

Be with my family, friends, and neighbors.

Be with those who live in my city or town
and with all who reside in my state.

Be with all the citizens of the United States,
and so bind us together that we know ourselves to be
united,
connected,
as one.

Let us feel your presence.

Hear us lift our unique voices as one voice,
praising you,
giving thanks,
offering our lives to your service.

Be with me, O God, now and always. Amen.
