Prayer for America 02/09/06

Dear God, how can we leave America better for our children and grandchildren? How can we make sure we leave them with an inheritance that is not sealed with war, hunger, and terror? Please, Lord, help us build a stronger foundation for our country. Let us build upon the morals, ethics, and values of those who came before us to sustain generations to come. Please help us build and maintain friendships here and abroad that will support our children. Amen.

Faith, as sturdy as the stone foundation beneath a century-old house, forms the bedrock upon which I stand, unswayed despite the winds of change.
