Let me be a light, dear Lord, that shines in dark corners. Let me be a beacon of hope and a friend to all in need. Let me be part of the solution and not part of the problem. Let me help and never hinder. Let me serve and ask for nothing in return. Let me heal the wounds of those who suffer. Let me offer support to those who grieve. Let me be a light, dear Lord, that shines in dark corners.

When the darkness casts shadows upon us and the answers are nowhere in sight, hope lifts us up on a wing and a prayer and carries us back to the light.
