Prayer for America 02/24/06

Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.
Before the earth was formed you were God.
In you there is no beginning or end.
You see earth's history in the blink of an eye.
You understand everything.
We live but for a moment yet act like we know everything.
Give us wisdom that we might put what we know into perspective.
Help us rise each morning with joy in our hearts.
Show us your great works.
Shine your glory on us.
Bless us and all that we do.
Amen.
