Prayer for America 03/03/06

Thank you, Lord, for the balm of time that heals our nation's wounds and allows us to press on. Thank you, too, for our national memorials that help us remember our past and what we have experienced together. Let these shared memories of past pain and triumph continue to draw us together and make us strong. Let the hope of our future inspire our imagination and rekindle our vision. But most of all, Father, let the present moment be dedicated to what is most precious and meaningful in life. May America always know how to make each moment count! In your name, amen.
