Prayer for America 05/22/06

Dear God, the world beyond our shores offers so many wonderful sights, so much rich history. But those who travel abroad and then return to the United States describe great emotion at setting foot on American soil again. The whole world is your creation, Father, but this nation is the one we call home.

Thank you for this home among the nations. Thank you for all our brothers and sisters who live here with us. Thank you for blessing our home, for protecting it, and for making us strong. Thank you for blessing me with such a beautiful home while I wait to join you in my true home forever.
