Prayer for America 05/17/06

In you we trust, dear God. In you we put our faith, our hope, our dreams for a better tomorrow. Thy will be done, for thy will is always the highest and the best. We stand before you, humbled and willing to do whatever you put in our hearts to do. Direct our paths that we may walk assuredly and confidently along the way set out before us. And let our footprints mark the way for those who come after us, generations to follow who share our dream for a strong and caring nation. In you we trust, dear God. In you we place our lives. Thy will be done. Amen.

Hope is about believing with a humble heart that tomorrow can be different.
It’s about knowing that light will come to chase away the darkness.
