Prayer for America 09/05/05

It's time to return to a fall schedule, to more industry and less play. But my work is a blessing from you, Lord. Through it I find purpose, I am a valuable part of a team, and I am able to make a living and provide for others. And, in a broader sense, I also help strengthen the fabric of this nation. So next time I get tangled up in the minutia of my daily tasks, God, remind me as an American to work in such a way that I can proudly stamp my efforts: "Made in the USA."

Freedom isn't just a benefit of living in America. Freedom is America. It's in the metal, the pistons, the fabric of America. If we lose our freedom, we lose America.
