Prayer for America 10/23/05

Heavenly Father, this harvest season I see once again the bounty of our land being gathered and stored so that America's winter is not a season of hunger. I thank you for each farmer and farm worker and ask you to bless all those who sow and reap. I thank you for the grocers who make this bounty available. I pray that our hearts may be bountiful, too, that we may share with those who hunger. I pray that our hearts grow large enough to ensure that not a single child weeps with hunger through cold and snowy nights.
