Prayer for America 11/13/05

We thank you, Lord, for the freedoms we enjoy and for the good land you have given us. Thank you for America's compassionate people, who serve willingly and heroically in times of stress.

We have been blessed far beyond what we could ever think or imagine--far beyond what we deserve. Yet, we ask for your continued shower of blessings upon our country as we face the unknown.

Guide us, Father, and teach us how to live gracefully in a society filled with uncertainty. Help us to comfort one another and to show the world we are still your people.
