Prayer for America 11/21/05

In praise and thanksgiving, we stand before thee, O Lord. You have given us a harvest of plenty, a bounty of blessings no other nation can claim. Now teach us to share our overflowing cornucopia of good with others, Lord. Teach us how to give of our harvest and share the fruit of our fields so that the entire world can benefit from the wonderful riches we so proudly cultivate. Make us the gardeners of the world, tending to the needs of those who have so much less. Let us spread the seeds of love and caring and goodwill to all four corners of the globe, nurturing the growth of others so that life itself will bloom forth where there was only barren soil. Amen.
