Prayer for America 12/28/05

Lord, you have showered your favor upon us daily. You have give us the privilege to live in a country where citizens can take an active part in government and civil rights are respected more than anywhere else on earth. We are grateful for the godly men and women, shaped by your love and listening to your word in their hearts, who make this vision of freedom work.

Teach us to be worthy of all that we receive. Make us truly thankful that we are citizens of a great nation. Grant us a strong faith, and help us to face the tasks ahead with our heads held high.
