Creator and Author of Life, we see signs of your newness all around us. Help us as Americans to claim the newness that is possible in you. You are our refreshment and hope. You are the creative spirit that dwells in each of us. You are the spark for each idea that comes to us and the energy for enacting our ideas. May we as citizens and leaders of these United States look always for innovative solutions to old problems. May we find new perspectives and positive attitudes when it comes to personal relationships or international conflicts. You give life. Everything is new in you. Let us also be new, creative, transformed. Amen.
