Lord, it only takes a moment to close our eyes and imagine how our country must look from your point of view: the wide blue skies, the wind rippling the prairie grasses, the mountains tall against the horizon, and the glistening lakes.

America truly is beautiful!

And in our city streets, amid the bustle and haste, there is loveliness, too. You inspire us to create churches, libraries, parks, schools, museums, and homes to fulfill our daily needs.

Yes, America truly is beautiful!

Lord, remind us we can find beauty wherever we look. Remind us that wherever we walk, we walk on your earth. All the earth is holy ground and beautiful!
