Prayer for America 04/17/06

The world is bursting with life today. The crocus is peeking out from beneath your soil, the chirps of tiny birds are heard for the first time as life is witnessed everywhere from ground to tree limbs to sky. Help me, dear God, to live my day like that of a newborn--without judgment and with acceptance. Spring is a time to begin again. Guide me to a new way of living. Help me see our beautiful world through the eyes of a child--freely and willingly. Amen.
