Prayer for America 05/14/06

Lord, thank you for all the mothers in America. Thank you for those who are at the workplace, faithfully providing for their families. As they balance deadlines, coworkers, supervisors, and all the duties that fill their days, give them a sense of peace about their children's care and well being. Bless the people who are watching the children of the mothers at work.

Thank you for the mothers who are at home, faithfully providing for their families. As they balance schedules, sibling interactions, and all the duties that fill their days, give them a sense of peace about their own care and well-being. And help all mothers, wherever they may be, to appreciate each other’s sacrifices and to respect their different decisions. Certainly, all mothers are deserving of our greatest thanks and admiration. Amen.
