Prayer for America 08/09/06

Dear God, please help me have a Sunday kind of Wednesday, glad to awaken to another week of work. I want to carry through on Sunday's prayers--my prayers and the prayers of people across the country, in places of worship large and small, of every denominations and faith. On Sunday, we praise you, we ask for help, and we make promises. Now it is Wednesday, and I do not want to forget those things that bring me close to you. Help me praise you, seek your help, search for your face in everyone I meet, and keep my promises today and throughout the week. Amen.
