Prayer for America 12/31/05

Tomorrow we begin a new year, God. I want to thank you for what I have achieved to this point. Help me look beyond what is wrong in my life and in this world and look forward to better days and times. Help me broaden my views and aim for goals that are not so easily reached. Strengthen my belief in myself, and please do the same for all the citizens of the United States. God, help me and other Americans look forward to this new year with hope. Amen.


Remember the past, and learn from its mistakes. Honor the present and make each moment count. Dream the future, and work hard to make the dream come true.
