Prayer for America 02/27/06

God, help our country emerge from the rubble of hard times with our heads held high. Help us keep faith in ourselves, our country, and in you, God. It's often difficult to see the sunshine through the storm. Please help us to see the compassion and profound strength we Americans share. Show us that Americans truly have the most giving spirit. Amen.

The hopeful have a peace about them, a way of looking at everything that happens as an opportunity for growth and happiness. Their lives are not any easier than anyone else's; it's their attitude that sets them apart.
