Prayer for America 04/07/06

Father, thank you for the rich diversity with which you have blessed this nation--for the cities and the farms, for the mountains and the valleys, for the heat and the cold, for the oceans and the deserts, for the forests and the plains, for the sand and the snow, for the new and the old, for the day and the night for the sun and the moon, for the stars and the clouds.

Most of all, thank you for the rich diversity of our people--for the colors, the sizes, the ages, the talents, the names, and the heritage. Help us appreciate this diversity for what it really is--an amazing gift and opportunity to know and love a multitude of your precious creations. Amen.
