Prayer for America 05/01/06



The cherry blossoms in our nation’s capital are turning their faces toward the gentle touch of your spring sunshine, Blessed Creator. How beautiful are your works! They adorn our national monuments like garlands of peace and blessing. How we long for your continued kindness to us, Lord. Cause your goodness to blossom in the heart of our nation. Begin with me, Lord, as I turn my face toward the gentle touch of your transforming grace. Amen.
