Prayer for America 06/09/06

Dear God, the freedoms we have taken for granted for so long have always been endangered by evil that preys on our weakness and especially on our inattention. Today is no different from any other day since our country was founded. We need prayer to keep your veil of protection over us, and we need it today and in all our days to come. Heavenly Father, help me remember to pray. Touch the hearts of millions so they turn to God in prayer, if just for a moment, every day. Amen.
