Prayer for America 06/06/06

Thank you for the faith of our father and mothers, for generations of faithful folks who worked and prayed and sacrificed to make our country great.

They had faith in each other, and they trusted neighbors and friends who took up arms in defense of freedom. And they had faith in us, that we would do the right thing and preserve the heritage for which they sacrificed. But most of all, they had faith in you--that you would bless their noble work with freedom and enduring joy. They were right. Thank you.
