Prayer for America 06/12/06

Dear God, it's vacation time now, and people are traveling. The streets and highways and interstates are full of cars. The sky is crowded with planes. People are getting on trains and buses for business and visits and family adventures. Thank you, God, for the freedom we have in America to travel with so few restrictions.

I ask for safety for all those travelers. Please help the planes take off and land without incident. Help the cars and trucks and buses operate properly. Help tired drivers stay awake and focus on the road. Help moms and dads keep their children buckled up and strapped in. Please bless this nation with safe travel. Amen.
