Prayer for America 04/19/06

Heavenly Father, our country has enjoyed the highest level of freedom of any country in the world. For that we thank and praise you.

We have the Constitution and the Bill of Rights to guarantee our freedom to speak without fear, worship you, choose our leaders, oppose wrongs, and defend what is right. Americans enjoy these freedoms because you have been with us, Lord, guiding our leaders and ordinary citizens to do extraordinary things in your name.

Continue to give us your guidance and your strength to resist those forces that would take away our precious freedoms and pull us down to their level. Humbly we ask you to preserve our country’s freedoms so that we may remain a beacon of light to the world.
