Prayer for America 04/21/06

If only people looked at each other with respect instead of jealousy...
If only people saw each other as friends instead of enemies...
If only it wasn't one nation under God but one world under God...
Then this would be heaven on earth.

Please, Lord, forgive us our mistakes and judgmental thoughts, and guide us to be the best people and nation we can be. Amen.

Though Americans with differing viewpoints sometimes are opponents,
we must never think of each other as enemies. We are all Americans.
