Prayer for America 05/06/06

Lord, let us not forget what it means to be an American. Let us not silence those who speak against us--let us promote free speech. Let us not censor the art of those we do not understand--let us promote free expression. Let us not show prejudice against those who worship a different God--let us promote freedom of religion. Let us promote the freedom of every citizen to pursue justice, liberty, and happiness.

It is in trying times that a nation’s true colors shine through.
