Prayer for America 06/03/06

Great Spirit, the native people of this place we call America have taught us to respect the land as though it were alive. Teach us your ways, God, that we may become one with all of life around us, that we may protect our precious resources and the natural beauty of our environment. Show us how to give back to the land, as the land has so graciously and generously given to us. Instill in us a reverence for the air, the water, the animals, and the green trees that you have given us dominion over. We thank you, Spirit for the living earth we walk upon, for the breathing sky we gaze upon, for America.
