Prayer for America 06/20/06

God of Peace,
help us to know the things that make for peace.
May our everyday actions with friends and strangers
lead to peace.
May the work we do with our hands lead to peace.
May our thoughts focus on possibilities of peace.
May the policies of our government work toward pace.
keep our heart hungry for peace.
Encourage us in all we do as individuals and as a nation,
that peace might one day reign on earth.
Let there be peace...
and let it begin with us.
