Prayer for America 08/15/06

Lord, we know change is inevitable. Teach our country to accept it. If we view each transition as an opportunity to experience your faithfulness, then we make new places in our lives for spiritual growth. Thank you.

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult. The Lord of hosts is with us.
